Released in 1999, 'Big Daddy' starred Adam Sandler in his comedic prime as a lazy 30-something bachelor who is dumped by his girlfriend. After having the illegitimate son of his best friend dumped on his doorstep, he decides to prove to his ex that he can take responsibility by pretending that he's adopted a kid. The heartwarming comedy was a major success at the box office, further solidifying the career of Sandler. Fifteen years later we look back at the cast of this modern classic and see what they're up to now.

Then: Former 'SNL' star Adam Sandler played Sonny Koufax, an aimless 32-year-old bachelor. When his best friend Kevin's illegitimate child shows up and Kevin ditches the kid to leave the country for work, Sonny adopts the kid as his own to get his ex back. Sandler previously entertained audiences with films like 'Billy Madison' and 'Happy Gilmore.'

Now: Sandler has since appeared with Drew Barrymore in the rom-coms 'The Wedding Singer' and '50 First Dates,' and he's starred in, produced and written wacky comedies like 'Little Nicky,' 'You Don't Mess with the Zohan,' 'Grown Ups' and 'Jack and Jill.' Over the years he's sometimes branched out into drama with roles in 'Punch-Drunk Love' and 'Funny People,' directed by his old friend Judd Apatow. Recently he starred in, wrote and produced 'Grown Ups 2.' He can be seen next reuniting with Drew Barrymore for the rom-com 'Blended,' and in the films 'The Cobbler' and 'Men, Women and Children.'

Then: Dylan and Cole Sprouse shared the role of Julian McGrath, the illegitimate child of Sonny's best friend Kevin -- Sonny pretends to adopt Julian to impress his ex, but ends up bonding with the kid in the process. The Sprouse twins previously starred on the sitcom 'Grace Under Fire' and made their big-screen debut in 'The Astronaut's Wife.'

Now: Cole had a recurring role on 'Friends' as Ross' son, Ben, and the pair shared roles in films like 'The Master of Disguise' and the indie 'The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.' But audiences know them best from the hit Disney channel series 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' and the follow-up series 'The Suite Life on Deck.' Their time on the Disney channel ended in 2011, when the twins reportedly came up with an idea for a final season to help transition new stars onto the show, but were rejected by the network. These days, the twins attend NYU -- Cole studies humanities and archaeology, while Dylan is studying video game design. In 2013, the twins were appointed ambassadors of the Koyamada Foundation, which seeks to help deepen relations between the youth of Japan and the youth of America.

He's also starred in the Sandler-produced flicks 'Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo' and its sequel, 'The Benchwarmers,' and 'Grandma's Boy.' In 2012, Schneider starred in a CBS sitcom called 'Rob,' loosely based on his real-life, but the series was canceled early on. More recently he's lent his voice to US version of the animated film 'Top Cat: The Movie.'

Now: Swanson has since appeared in the films 'Dude, Where's My Car,' 'What If...,' and 'Chick Magnet.' More recently he reprised his voice role for 'Monsters University,' appeared in Sandler's 'Grown Ups 2,' and co-starred with Steve Carrell in 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.' Up next, he'll reunite with Sandler again for 'The Cobbler.'
