Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, after revealing new footage and updates on ‘Captain America 2’ and ‘Thor 2,’ introduced the director and cast of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ to Comic-Con 2013’s Hall H.

The crowd went wild as each member of the principal cast hustled out along with director James Gunn. So, do you want to know who each are playing in the film? Here we go:

Michael Rooker is Yondu, Karen Gillan is Nebula, Djimon Hounsou is Korath , Lee Pace is Ronan the Accuser, Benicio Del Toro is The Collector, Dave Bautista is Drax the Destroyer, Zoe Saldana is Gamora, and Chris Pratt is Star-Lord.

For the most part, the cast didn’t want to reveal too much about their characters or the storyline, but they did give one or two small nuggets on their characters. After joking about his character being involved with Fed-Ex, Chris Pratt did say that his character is determined to protect and contribute to his new family that are the Guardians of the Galaxy. As for Saldana’s Gamora, “I play an assassin from space," which a comic-book-fluent family member had to inform her. Dave Bautista, a hulking beast of a man, said he broke down in tears when he landed the job of Drax. “I fought pretty hard for this job," he said, "and when I got this job, I broke down and cried.”

Now for the baddies! Del Toro, one of the more recent casting additions, said, “James called me and asked me if I would read this story. I read it and it’s a great story. It was very cool. I’m the new one here. I didn’t come from London [referring to how the cast came directly to Comic-Con from said production location]. I came from Los Angeles."

As for Ronan, “he’s a beast,” said Pace. “I don’t want to say too much because we’re gonna put it on the screen," teasing the debut of the first teaser trailer.

On Korath, all Djimon Hounsou had to say was that he's "a humanoid, a great ally to Ronan and Thanos," confirming that Thanos indeed will have some part, be it insanely small or not, in 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' (Queue the "all is lost" music.)

Next in line came Gillan, who teased with moderator Chris Hardwick that her character is bald ... which yielded her big film transformation. "I may have done something a bit drastic," she said, before revealing that her long red hair was actually a wig. Yes, she shaved her head! "It's liberating," she exclaimed.

Rooker, in turn, didn't reveal much of anything, other what he tells people about Meryl -- “I tell people that Meryl is gone. He died two times in one episode, and let him go!”

Now for the ultimate debut: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ revealed its first trailer! We wish we had the footage to show you of the CG-ed Rocket Raccoon and Groot, and the so-not CG Gamora and Drax, the latter characters seemed to be created using body paint. Imagine a hulking professional fighter decked out in green paint with red streaks all over his body. Also on display was John C. Reilly's Rhomann Dey, leader of the Nova Corps. Though, he was pictured arresting the Guardians of the Galaxy and throwing them in space jail!

We'll be sure to update you with the footage as soon as it's officially released online. But in the meantime, stay tuned for more news. 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is set for release August 1, 2014.
