Cosplay of the Day: With Your Powers Combined, He Is Avatar State Aang

Nickelodeon's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' has plenty of fun, goofy characters that always seem to know how to break the tension. Aang, our protagonist, is a young boy who possesses a great sense of humor and a lightheartedness that brings joy to those around him. But when he goes into the Avatar State, you can bet that things are going to get very real.

Aang's Avatar State allows him to tap into the powers and knowledge of all his past lives, greatly augmenting his battle prowess and command over the four elements. The cosplay pictured here is from his climactic battle with Fire Lord Ozai, during which he tapped into the Avatar State and surrounded himself with an elemental shield made of earth, water, fire and air.

Dat "Manly" Cosplay has chosen to represent this look as Aang in an adult form, complete with battle scars. We already know what Aang looked like as an adult, thanks to brief flashbacks in 'Avatar: The Legend of Korra,' but we like to think that this is what he might have looked like his 20s. This is one hardcore version of Aang that we believe can save the world many times over.
