As if everything we've seen from the 'Evil Dead' remake wasn't already covered in red, the new poster for the film has just emerged, and it's as red as you can get. Check it out in full after the break.

In a way this new design is a bit disappointing, as it's essentially the same teaser poster we received in November, just with a new hue. Even the boastful tagline (which we're really hoping miraculously turns out to be true) is the same. It's unclear if this is the final poster for the Fede Alvarez-directed flick, as it's only about a month and a half from release. However, thanks to those gleefully gruesome trailers, they may not need to go overboard with the one-sheets.

Here's the synopsis, just in case you need it. (You don't, though.):

In the much-anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

'Evil Dead' opens in theaters on April 5th (after a March 8th premiere at SXSW) and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, Elizabeth Blackmore and a whole lot of the red stuff.
