Each and every Fargo Season 3 addition has been something to get excited over, and that trend shows no signs of stopping. Following the landmark addition of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, latest to sign on for Minnesota murder is Batman v. Superman star Scoot McNairy, but as whom?

Where FX heralded Winstead’s casting with a full press release, Halt and Catch Fire star McNairy’s presence among the cast was revealed to TVLine at the 2016 Emmys by series creator Noah Hawley. The role is said to be recurring, but without any concrete details as of yet.

Elsewhere of Fargo Season 3, we know that Ewan McGregor will play the dual role of brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy, the former a good-looking “Parking Lot King of Minnesota,” and the latter a resentful, flabby parole officer. The Leftovers favorite Carrie Coon will also take a central role as Gloria Burgle, chief of the Eden Valley Police, and a newly divorced mother struggling to understand the phone-obsessed world around her, while Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Nikki Swango, described as “a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing.”

The 2010-set season was also previously said to explore “selfie-oriented culture,” shooting later this year for a 2017 bow. It’s likely Fargo Season 3 could drop a full cast list before long, but what other new and returning favorites should we hope for?
