Bruce Officially Becomes ‘A Dark Knight’ in Extended ‘Gotham’ Season 4 Trailer
We know better than to take everything Gotham stars say as gospel, but Batman may really begin in Season 4. Watch Bruce grapple, intimidate thugs, lie to Lucius Fox and do everything a Bat-kid does with an extended trailer for the fourth season.
Ahead of Thursday’s premiere, Gotham released its battiest trailer yet, as Bruce starts living up to the new “A Dark Knight” Tagline (what happened to “Dawn of Night”?). It looks like Selina will join Bruce with a new leather number to match their future personas, while the extended trailer (new footage begins around 2:22) offers better looks at Scarecrow, Ra’s al Ghul, Barbara’s return and more.
Here’s the Thursday premiere synopsis:
A LICENSE TO KILL ON THE ALL-NEW SEASON FOUR PREMIERE OF “GOTHAM” THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, ON FOX
Gordon fears Jonathan Crane (guest star Charlie Tahan) is still alive and back in Gotham, when The Scarecrow’s signature MO is used in a series of robberies. Meanwhile, Penguin’s “licensing” of crime in the city backfires during the grand opening of his new Iceberg Lounge. Also, in the aftermath of his encounter with Ra’s Al Ghul, Bruce begins his vigilante watch in the all-new “Pax Penguina” season premiere episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Sept. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Guest Cast: Michael Buscemi as Merton, Larry Pine as Mayor Burke, Michael Maize as Grady, Charlie Tahan as Jonathan Crane, Anthony Carrigan as Zsasz, Damian Young as Warden Reed, Maggie Geha as Ivy Pepper
Elsewhere of Gotham Season 4, we know Teen Wolf alum Crystal Reed will take the role of Sofia Falcone, the intelligent and calculating daughter of Don Falcone. We also know Fringe alum Michael Cerveris will play Professor Pyg, while Butch Gilzean will return after the reveal that his real name was actually “Cyrus Gold” (aka Solomon Grundy).
