April Fools may have come and gone, yet NBC curiously presses on with its elaborate prank that Heroes will return to TV as the revived Heroes Reborn. After the addition of its first returning superpower, former series star Jimmy Jean-Louis will get in on the gag by joining Heroes Reborn to reprise his role as menacing mind-eraser “The Haitian.”

According to Yahoo, Jean-Louis will return for an indeterminate arc alongside Jack Coleman’s Noah Bennett, presumably with his memory-altering and powers-suppressing abilities still intact. The Haitian marks the third original series character to return, following Coleman and Masi Oka’s time-traveling Hiro Nakamura.

As for its now-projected fall premiere, Reborn features among its cast Chuck star Zachari Levi, Once Upon A Time villain Robbie Kay, Ryan Guzman, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green. Past series leads Zachary Quinto, Ali Larter and Milo Ventimiglia all previously shot down the possibility of returning to the Heroes franchise, along with Nashville star and Heroes alum Hayden Panettiere.

Will Jimmy Jean-Louis be the last original cast member to join Heroes Reborn? Will NBC actually go through with making Heroes Reborn a thing, scheduling it right after Coach Reborn? Let’s find out who breaks first, us or them!
