By now you've heard the news: 'Jurassic Park 4' has been put on hold by Universal Pictures so that they'll have "adequate time to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth installment." (Read: "Guess we shouldn't have rushed it"!)  So how does this affect your opinion of the sequel?

As we noted yesterday, it's not always a bad thing/cause for concern when a project is delayed -- happens all the time in this crazy town. However, 'Jurassic Park 4' is somewhat notable, as it's a major sequel that the studio has been banking on to prop up its 2014 summer slate; currently Universal only has 'Fast and Furious 7' and 'Dracula' on tap for the warmer months next year, and the execs would have loved for the fourth installment in the franchise to make an impression.

Yet now that the film has been put on hold, evidently to sturdy the script, Universal has proven that they're not willing to rush 'Jurassic Park 4' just to maintain their release date. It may ultimately be the best thing for the franchise to wait on 'JP4,' a project that has seen its fair share of starts and stops. (Although never this close to actual production.)

Are you glad Universal has put a hold on 'Jurassic Park 4'? Vote in our poll and comment below!
