FX fans may bemoan that 'Sons of Anarchy's fifth season will soon come to an end, and that January seems like an awfully long time to wait for the fourth season of 'Justified,' but the cable network wants you to know they still love you.  In advance of its January 13 premiere, 'Justified' season 4 has released the first official image of the season, highlighting our favorite gunslinger Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant), as well as his new pal to be played by comedian Patton Oswalt!  Are you ready for a first look at 'Justified' season 4?

While perhaps not as imposing or sleek as 'Justified's Raylan Givens, Patton Oswalt is certainly going to make an impression on the FX gunslinger drama's fourth season, guesting as Raylan's high school classmate and current constable Bob Sweeney!  Oswalt's character will appear in the January 2013 premiere answering a favor for Raylan Givens, before popping up again later in the season.

Entertainment Weekly manage to snag a first look at the character interacting with Givens, as well as a few excerpts from Oswalt himself on the nature of his character:

It’s a guy that basically sorta wants to be Raylan Givens, but is not, which I think most men can relate to. He thinks he has a dark, mysterious, messed-up past, but there’s hints that everybody already knows about it and doesn’t care.

I do get to do stuff that’s a combination of, like, super funny and super funny violent. I’ll leave it at that.

Oswalt's former football-playing Constable Bob isn't the only guest star making their way through 'Justified's Harlan County this season either, as the FX series will also boast appearances from Ron Eldard as a military police sergeant with ties to Boyd Crowder. Yet to be cast are the roles of a fugitive family man who teams up with a pair of drug addicts, and a charismatic young preacher who starts cutting into Boyd’s profits. David Meunier will reprise his role as Johnny Crowder for 10 episodes, and Natalie Zea will be back as Winona for at least three.
