Lindsay Lohan was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital this afternoon after being discovered unconscious at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey.
The local ABC affiliate - ABC7 Eyewitness News - reported the news that Lohan was found unconscious and rushed to a hospital.

UPDATE: Lohan's attorney now tells ABC7 that Lohan is "fine" and was never actually transported to the hospital. A 911 call was placed earlier this morning when the actress didn't answer the door at her penthouse room at the Ritz and was found to be unresponsive.

UPDATE #2: TMZ is reporting that Lohan told producers of 'Liz & Dick' she was feeling "exhausted" and retreated to her hotel room. A private doctor was called who asked hotel employees to check on her. That's when the 911 call was placed and she was determined to be unconscious. Paramedics checked her and left without transporting her to the hospital.

UPDATE #3: Deadline is reporting that Lifetime hopes to resume production on 'Liz & Dick' this evening.

While the news doesn't seem as drastic as was originally reported, it would clearly seem that something is going on in the world of Lohan. One major car crash sends you to the hospital and one week later you narrowly avoid another emergency room visit? Not good for a young actress who's supposed to be sober and healthy...

Lohan was filming the Lifetime original movie 'Liz & Dick.' Just a week ago, Lohan was transported to the emergency room at a hospital after rear-ending the back of an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway.
