Hey, guess what? 'Avengers 2' is happening. So are 'Thor 2' and 'Captain America 2.' These sequels should be no shock to you considering they have made over $500 gazillion at the box office (that's a rough estimate). But at a Disney presentation at the Cine 2012 conference in Italy, Disney head John Lasseter showed off the official logos for these Marvel sequels in the Disney timeline.

The blog BadTaste was at the Cine conference and snapped the above shot, which gives us a look at the film's logo. 'Avengers 2' doesn't yet have a date but the graphic artists at Disney stuck a fancy "#2" after the logo and that's just about enough to get me excited for the next installment. The additional three Marvel films on the Disney timeline - 'Iron Man 3,' 'Captain America 2' and 'Thor 2' - we have significantly more information on.

'Iron Man 3' stars Robert Downey, Jr., Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle. The film is directed by Shane Black and hits theaters on May 3, 2013.

'Thor 2' is being directed by Don Payne ('Game of Thrones') and will bring back stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston. It will hit hit theaters on November 8, 2013.

'Captain America 2' will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, better known for co-creating 'Community' than their experience on big superhero sequels. That film is released on April 4th, 2014.

You can expect more announcements on Marvel's future at Comic-Con 2012, where we expect to hear formal word on 'Black Panther' and one as-yet-unannounced Marvel film.
