‘Masters of Sex’ and ‘Ray Donovan’ Season 2 Release First Footage

Sure, much of the attention for Sunday TV turned to the latest 'Game of Thrones' wedding disaster and the final season premiere for 'Mad Men,' but soon Showtime will return to steal a bit of spotlight back this summer. Accordingly, the new summer Sunday team of 'Masters of Sex' and 'Ray Donovan' revealed their first bits of season 2 footage in a scandalous new trailer.

Both series will premiere on Sunday, July 13, where previously 'Masters of Sex' paired with 'Homeland' in the fall and 'Ray Donovan' debuted with the final season of 'Dexter.' The latest trailer shows a bit of new footage from each, including William Masters (Michael Sheen) getting back in shape and trying to patch things up with a bitter Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan).

Previously, ‘Masters of Sex’ season 2 added ‘The Michael J. Fox Show‘ castoff and ‘Breaking Bad‘ vet Betsy Brandt as the Masters’ new secretary, earlier casting ‘Akeelah and the Bee’ star Keke Palmer in the recurring role of the Masters’ new nanny. ‘Ray Donovan’ too added its own ‘Michael J. Fox’ star, that of Wendell Pierce, while the above trailer introduces us to 'Simpsons' vet Hank Azaria as an investigator probing Ray's illicit activities.
