New ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ Posters Prepare the Cast For War

Lionsgate probably doesn’t have to advertise The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. All they really have to do it announce a release date and watch the money roll in. But when you have a fanbase this dedicated and passionate, why not take every possible opportunity to whip them into a rabid frenzy? So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the new batch of character posters that have just arrived online.

Each poster follows the same basic structure: a close-up of a character’s face, nearly colorless except for the red Mockingjay war paint splashed across their mug. Everyone gets a different slogan (Katniss is “Panem Unite” and Peeta is “Sons Unite” and so on). And then the release date. Because that’s actually the most important piece of information here. Sure, a certain segment of the population is probably getting weak in the knees at the sight of Liam Hemsworth’s face with a bird on it, but that release date is what has really embedded itself into their subconscious.

Anyway, the full poster set includes Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), Cressida (Natalie Dormer), Johanna (Jena Malone), Prim (Willow Shields), and Boggs (Mahershala Ali). Check them all out below!
