Spider-Man is about to face his most "sinister" challenge yet! No, we're not talking about the logline for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2.' We're referring to the fact that the movie universe is about to branch out into a slew of spinoffs, including ones for 'Venom,' a female-led film, and, of course, 'Sinister Six.' A recent teaser for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Spider-Man 2' hit the web, hinting at what we can expect from the ultimate villain team-up through new concept art.

While the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Blu-ray teaser tries to stoke fan excitement with footage from previous films (including Sam Raimi's original trilogy) of such characters as Rhino, Electro, The Lizard, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Venom, Sandman, and Colm Feore's Donald Menken (who was rumored to become Vulture in a later film), one screenshot from the video seems to suggest that two of these names -- and, possibly, even a third -- could be showing up in the 'Sinister Six' movie.

Let's take a closer look...

As seen in the screenshot above (which you can click for an enlarged view), 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' director Marc Webb is standing in front of a board covered in concept art for his movie. Among the offerings are drawings for Vulture's wings and Doc Ock's tentacles, which we've seen teased at the end of 'Spider-Man 2.' In addition, there's a frozen head in the bottom lefthand corner, which points to a spoilery plot point cut from the film -- the severed but preserved head of Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper), thought to have died in the beginning of the film.

If you ask us, we're gonna speculate and say that, while Dane DeHaan's Harry Osborn is banding together the Sinister Six as the Green Goblin we know and love, Norman will return as the mutated, demonic version of the villain from the 'Ultimate Spider-Man' comic book series. But that's just a fun guess at this point.

The 'Sinister Six' movie has a release date for November 11, 2016, and Drew Goddard is said to be directing.
