It's always a good thing when ‘SNL’ lets the women in the cast fully cut loose. Operating in the same tradition of “Do It on My Twin Bed” and “Dongs All Over the World,” “Back Home Ballers” once again puts the ladies of the show in an incredibly mundane situation and lets them rap about it. And, as usual, the show once again proves that its female cast has never been stronger.

This faux music video is all about getting hardcore about the least hardcore thing in the world: going home to your parents' house for Thanksgiving and mooching. Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, Sasheer Zamata, Vanessa Bayer, Leslie Jones, Aidy Bryant, and guest host Cameron Diaz all fully commit to the absurdity of performing a hip hop song about eating your mom's food, pretending to sleep to avoid helping in the kitchen and preparing snacks in an amazing collection of bowls. This is the kind of thug life where you have to enter your family's overly long and complicated wifi password when you want to get on the internet.

It's similar territory to “Do It on My Twin Bed” and if we're going to be honest, it's not quite as funny, but it’s wonderful to see so many recent digital shorts being handed over to the ‘SNL’ women. Even as the show rebuilds following the departure of so many cast members, this crew is as reliable as ever.
