For as much as we enjoyed last night's 'Supernatural' season 9 premiere "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here," the hour largely served to reorient the Winchester brothers for the new season, rather than pick up the plots left off from last year. That all changes with next week's "Devil May Care," as Sam and Dean return their demonic hostage to base in the latest clip.

As part of the footage originally shown at Comic-Con 2013, Kevin Tran (Osric Chau) remains none too pleased with the decision to keep Crowley (Mark Sheppard) alive, but Sam and Dean argue that they can at least extract the identities of demons on Earth before they finally kill the deposed Hell king. Elsewhere, Kevin is tasked with re-reading the angel tablet in hopes of undoing the spell that saw Castiel and his brethren fall from the sky.

Following last night's premiere, ‘Supernatural’ season 9 will also feature the return of Jim Beaver’s Bobby Singer, Felicia Day‘s Charlie Bradbury, and Death (Julian Richings), while ‘Battlestar Galactica‘ vet Tahmoh Penikett appears as the angel Ezekiel and ABC ‘Whodunit’ host Gildart Jackson will appear in a significant “Men of Letters” flashback. Executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer have otherwise previewed the CW drama’s ninth year, particularly the expanded role angels would play in the mythology going forward.
