Easily the most striking thing about the trailers and posters for Thor: Ragnarok is the COLORS. The MCU is taking a very bold turn (in more ways than one), and we probably have the success of the Guardians of the Galaxy films to thank for allowing a great director like Taika Waititi to come in and shake up Thor’s somewhat bland (but occasionally shiny) world. Take, for example, this new international poster, which is, for lack of a better phrase, sick as hell.

It’s been an unusual fall for broadcast TV, trimming orders without a single cancellation as of early November, but at last NBC has broken the seal on renewals. Not only will “Jaimie Alexander Naked in a Bag” drama Blindspot return for a second season, so too has NBC confirmed renewals for two of its major Chicago series.

Did you guess that NBC’s “Throw Naked Jaimie Alexander in a Bag, Then Have Her Beat People Up” would prove a reasonable hit? It’s your lucky day! After a reasonable ratings start to the season NBC has officially given Blindspot an additional nine episodes for a full-season order through May 2016.

As CBS’ Supergirl and others caught the brunt of earlier this year, TV’s pilot season has been increasingly difficult to keep under wraps, assuming you trust the veracity of “leaks” to begin with. In any case, FOX’s Minority Report and Lucifer, along with NBC’s Blindspot and others have officially become the latest victims.

HBO’s geopolitical comedy The Brink seemed somewhat touch-and-go for a bit, as Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers picked up a Season 2 renewal, while Brink’s all-star cast of Tim Robbins, Jack Black and Aasif Mandvi drew closer to expiring contracts. That said, The Brink made it to the very edge with a Season 2 pickup, confirming its return for 2016.

As Captain America: Civil War gets ready to wrap production and Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 prepare to begin production in a few months, there hasn’t been much news on the next Thor movie. But, star Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif) says that if you’re paying attention throughout Captain America: Civil War when it opens in theaters next year, you’ll get a very good idea what’s going to happen in Thor: Ragnarok.

Ah, May upfronts, where the networks seek to outdo one another in greenlighting the most shamelessly attention-grabbing pilots imaginable. Speaking of shameless attention-grabbing, how about Thor star Jaimie Alexander naked in a duffel bag, or what NBC likes to call Blindspot?
