'The Flash' has officially made his grand debut on The CW, and while the 'Arrow' spinoff has been especially shy with footage beyond last night's premiere, the fastest man alive can barely keep up with the newest trailer. See Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold in action alongside other 'Flash' villains, Felicity's return, and a few new details on last night's shocking post-credits twist!

You're warned of some light spoilers for 'The Flash' and beyond, but with the pilot episode out of the way, The CW's preview for upcoming episodes let its freak flag fly. Not only to see Leonard Snart and his freeze gun take on the fastest man alive, but so too catch a glimpse of smokey (and multiplying!) new baddies. 'Arrow''s Felicity puts in a kissy appearance with the season's fourth episode, while Barry seems at times a bit uncertain of his new powers.

And speaking of the uncertain, don't expect that shocking final pilot twist to necessarily determine the entire series, even as time-travel will play a part in the early season. Whatever Harrison Wells' reasons for faking his injuries, or concealing a 2024 newspaper that sees the Flash vanishing in a "Crisis," the CW series may yet write its own destiny. Says producer Andrew Kreisberg:

Time travel is going to play a big part in the overall series, but one of the things that we will discover is that time is mutable. As the good Doctor says, time can be rewritten, so not everything you see on the show is necessarily what’s going to come to pass and not necessarily everything that’s happened is fixed.

Meanwhile, here's what the CW had to say of next week's "Fastest Man Alive":

BARRY HAS FUN WITH HIS NEW POWERS BUT A SETBACK MAKES HIM QUESTION HIS ABILITY TO BE A HERO

Barry (Grant Gustin) escorts Iris (Candice Patton) to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg (guest star William Sadler). When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man’s life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him.

As Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) scramble to find out what’s wrong with Barry, Joe (Jesse Martin) comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn’t six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black (guest star Michael Christopher Smith), who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the “red streak.”
