New 'American Horror Story: Asylum' Teaser Pulls Back the VeilNick Romano |
What's that sound? Is it popcorn popping? Is it latex gloves? No, it's yet another 'American Horror Story: Asylum' teaser, offering up another 16-second clip to get you pumped for the season 2. Although, with this one being the sixteenth promotional video released thus far, it seems like the teasers are haunting us instead of revving us up.
We got a little excited when yesterday's clip "Slipping" gave us a bit more than just a close-up shot of a sewing machine, but now we're back to the usual. Today's seemingly unrevealing teaser called "Veiled" gives us a look of a white nun, possibly the one with the accompanying white face in the 'American Horror Story: Asylum' poster and shown crowd surfing in a more recent teaser. Only this time, she's white face-less and her veil is seemingly made out of latex. Time will tell if we're right on the money. Maybe we'll find out in the next 16-second clip.
'American Horror Story: Asylum,' premiering in October, is backed by a plethora of star power, including Jessica Lange and Frances Conroy from the first season, updated series regular Zachary Quinto, Franka Potente ('The Bourne Identity'), Jenna Dewan ('Step Up'), Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, Clea DuVall ('Carnivale'), Chloe Sevigny ('Big Love'), French actress Lizzie Brochere, Britne Odford ('Skins'), Joseph Fiennes and James Cromwell. Not joining in the mix is 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and 'The Secret Circle' star Chris Zylka, who was recently cut from season 2 because he refused to shave his hair. We know, lame!
