‘Dexter’ Season 7 Sheds Light on Creepy New Promo

We’ve yet to even scratch the surface of July, so it might be a little early to start getting impatient with ‘Dexter‘ season 7.  We’ll definitely have some new details (and hopefully footage) when our favorite Bay Harbor Butcher stops by Comic-Con 2012 this summer, but for now, the latest look at ‘Dexter’ season 7 is our most illuminating yet.  And no, we’re not talking about Julia Stiles.

In spite of the smattering of details, babes, new characters and villains we’ve heard about for ‘Dexter’ season 7, we still feel like we haven’t really seen much.  There have been snippets of teasing dialogue and a few blurry images for sure, but no actual footage.  After all that, the question on every ‘Dexter’ fan’s mind remains: how will Deb react to discovering her brother as a life-long vigilante serial killer?

The latest promo from Showtime for ‘Dexter’ season 7, entitled “Truth Brings Light,” is the longest look we’ve had at the upcoming season, which finally hits our TV screens on Sunday September 30.  There still isn’t any actual footage of course, but a very artsy interplay of the profiles of Dexter and Debra Morgan, as if to say they’re inextricably linked no matter what one might catch the other doing!

It sure sounds like we might be hearing snippets of dialogue from the season 7 premiere “Are You…?”, or possibly even Dexter’s voice-over narration, but watch the clip for yourself below and tell us what you think in the comments!
