He and a select group of journalists (which did not include me) saw Marvel’s much-anticipated sequel last night, ahead of this weekend’s big Avengers press junket. For this, he deserves our jealousy, or envy, and our deep, abiding hatred. Let it flow out of you. Yes, doesn’t that feel good?

Thanks to the fine folks at Dr. Pepper (who make the world taste better, if memory serves), we have a brand new Avengers: Age of Ultron featurette. The latest video takes us behind the scenes of the upcoming super-film with director Joss Whedon and the cast as they explain what makes each of the Avengers so special — and what makes the challenges in the sequel so particularly challenging. As an added bonus, there’s also a little helping of new footage on display.

Just yesterday, we got our first real taste of Mission: Impossible 5 via a one-minute teaser trailer, but you should probably hold onto your seats because today brings the full trailer with even more Tom Cruise spy action and intrigue. Officially titled Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, the fifth installment in the franchise sees Ethan Hunt and the crew going up against a team of what are essentially anti-IMF agents, put together to bring Hunt’s organization down.

In other Jeremy Renner news, following the announcement that he’ll officially reunite with some of his Avengers pals for Captain America: Civil War, Renner has signed on for another reunion: The actor will team up with his American Hustle co-star Amy Adams for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Story of Your Life, set to be helmed by Denis Villeneuve, the acclaimed director of Prisoners.

Captain America: Civil War is gearing up to head into production, and going off of what we know about the upcoming sequel, as well as a few casting announcements, this is going to be a pretty different Cap movie. Not only will it include Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, but it’s also the MCU debut of the new Spider-Man. And now we can add another superhero to that list: Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye has been confirmed to join in on the action.

Not surprisingly, then, Paramount has announced that when the next Mission: Impossible comes to theaters in July, it will do so on IMAX screens all over the world.
