'The Walking Dead' season 4 won't shamble out its full premiere, "30 Days Without An Accident," until October 13, but that won't stop us from breaking down the prison fences for a new look! AMC's first official poster key art for the new year has hit, and neither Rick Grimes nor our prison haven are looking too good!

A bit less visually busy than 'Walking Dead' posters of past years, the new season 4 poster features what looks to be a battered Rick (note the hand injury, comic purists) wearily standing guard over broken prison fences, signaling that even a reinforced safe haven can fall! Could walkers have overpowered the fences, or is the real saboteur within? Has the Governor returned with new forces to plow through his mortal enemy's stronghold?

While we await the latest details from ‘The Walking Dead’ season 4, the next run of the AMC horror-drama will introduce ‘The Wire’ star Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. as comic character Bob Stookey, and upgrade actors Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney to series regulars. The series is confirmed to have begun casting three new roles exceptionally familiar to comic fans, while David Morrissey will also return in season 4 as a series regular, though beyond this season his involvement seems unlikely.

Tear down the walls of 'The Walking Dead' season 4 with the full poster below, and give us your theories on the prison's fall in the comments! Just over a month remains until the premiere!
