We're less than a month before 'Boardwalk Empire' pops the cork on its fourth season, but the new footage has continued to flow unimpeded. After the release of the most recent poster, HBO has gifted fans of the Emmy-winning period gangster drama with a brand-spanking new look into season 4, which looks to be even more violent and divided between locations than ever before!

The newest 'Boardwalk Empire' season 4 trailer makes it abundantly clear that the narrative will divide between Nucky and his Atlantic City business, to Al Capone and others in the Chicago area, with a strong amount of focus going to New York and Harlem this year. In particular, we see Arnold Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg) perhaps coming down in the ranks, while new character Dr. Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) rises.

The new season for Steve Buscemi’s prohibition gangster Nucky Thompson includes Patricia Arquette as a Tampa speakeasy owner, ‘The Killing‘ star Eric Ladin as a young J. Edgar Hoover, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘ star Jeffrey Wright as educated Harlem leader Dr. Narcisse, ‘True Blood‘ star Brian Geraghty, Ron Livingston in a new regular role, and HBO vet Domenick Lombardozzi as Chicago mobster Ralph Capone, elder brother to Al Capone (Stephen Graham).
