With the seventh and final season of FX's 'Sons of Anarchy' fast approaching (seriously, people are growing skulls out of their backs and everything!), we thought we'd take the opportunity at Comic-Con 2014 to see what the cast and crew had to say of the final ride. Check out our chats with Katey Sagal, Theo Rossi, David Labrava, Niko Nicotera, executive producer Paris Barclay and creator Kurt Sutter right now!

Though Charlie Hunnam was nowhere to be found (thankfully, Jax explained to the audience via recorded video), Comic-Con 2014 afforded us the chance to talk with 'Sons of Anarchy' matriarch Katey Sagal (Gemma) on everything from 'Futurama'''s future to Gemma's struggle to keep her family together after the devastating events of season 6 finale "A Mother's Work." Series creator Kurt Sutter echoed the sentiment that Jax will enter the final season more focused on avenging Tara's death than ever, even providing us with a brief update on 'The Bastard Executioner' as well.

Elsewhere, we also had the chance to talk to Theo Rossi about Juice's mental state (and secret-keeping with Gemma), as well as David Labrava (Happy) and Niko Nicotera (Rat) getting a bit more spotlight this year as series regulars. Lastly, executive producer Paris Barclay previewed the challenge of bringing the 'Sons of Anarchy' saga to a close after seven years.

As for ‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 itself, we know that the premiere will pick up 10 days removed from the finale with Jax in prison on parole violation, while confirmed are the returns of Walton GogginsVenus Van Dam, CCH Pounder’s DA Tyne Patterson, Peter Weller’s Charlie Barosky, and ‘Deadwood’ star Kim Dickens as Diosa madame Collette.

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson will guest as an incarcerated white supremacist, while ‘The Bridge‘ star Annabeth Gish will act as the new Charming sheriff and Courtney Love has been given a “pivotal” role. Additionally, 'Glee' star Lea Michele will guest in a brief spot as a waitress Gemma finds an unlikely connection with.

The final season of FX's 'Sons of Anarchy' will premiere on September 9, so take a look at our talks with the cast and crew at Comic-Con 2014 above, and tell us in the comments what you want to see from SAMCRO's final ride!
