‘Dexter’ Final Season Premiere Clip: Deb Goes Wild on “A Beautiful Day”
At long last, the eighth and final season of 'Dexter' will be upon us this Sunday, kicking off the final 12 episodes for Dexter Morgan, Deb, and Miami Metro at large. And while Dexter will have plenty on his table this season, the latest clip from Sunday's season premiere "A Beautiful Day" shows Deb going further off the rails than her brother has ever been!
Not only has Deb gotten into drugs and shacked up with a criminal, but apparently left behind all traces of her former Miami Metro lifestyle, distancing herself as much as possible from the murder of Captain LaGuerta. We're willing to bet that Deb's insistence on joining her lover's drug deal means she hasn't entirely abandoned law enforcement altogether, but she seems to be in rough shape regardless.
Premiering June 30, ‘Dexter’ season 8 will feature appearances from Kenny Johnson (‘The Shield’), ‘24‘ villain Julian Sands as a wealthy international businessman, Bethany Joy (‘One Tree Hill’) Lenz as Dexter’s new neighbor Cassie and ‘Last Resort‘ star Darri Ingolfsson as her antique-dealing love interest, Rhys (‘Entourage‘) Coiro as a bail jumper on Deb’s radar, ‘The Walking Dead‘ star Nick Gomez as a hitman that goes up against Deb, Charlotte Rampling as “Psychopath Whisperer” neuropsychiatrist Dr. Evelyn Vogel, and ‘The Boondock Saints’ star Sean Patrick Flanery as ex-cop-turned-private-eye Jacob Elway.
