‘Dexter’ Final Season Premiere Clip: It’s “A Beautiful Day” to Meet the Psychopath Whisperer!

We're less than a week from 'Dexter''s final season premiere, "A Beautiful Day," but why wait until this coming Sunday for a sneak peek at the Showtime serial killer's eighth year? The newest adventures of Dexter Morgan see the blood spatter analyst encountering a mysterious new "Psychopath Whisperer" that joins the Miami Metro task force, but what designs might she have on Dexter himself?

We've already heard quite a few spoilers about the enigmatic Dr. Evelyn Vogel (Charlotte Rampling), but suffice to say, the first clip from the final season sees her having a major fixation on Dexter, even as she leads the Miami Metro team in classifying their latest serial killer. Masuka seems excited to have Vogel on the team as well, but not for the reasons we might expect!

In addition to Rampling, ‘Dexter’ season 8 will feature appearances from ‘The Shield’’s Kenny Johnson, the return of Yvonne Strahovski‘s Hannah McKay, ‘24‘ villain Julian Sands as a wealthy international businessman, Bethany Joy Lenz (‘One Tree Hill’) as Dexter’s new neighbor Cassie and Darri Ingolfsson (‘Last Resort‘) as her antique-dealing love interest, ‘Entourage‘’s Rhys Coiro as a bail jumper on Deb’s radar, ‘The Walking Dead‘ star Nick Gomez as a hitman that goes up against Deb, and ‘The Boondock Saints’ star Sean Patrick Flanery as ex-cop-turned-private-eye Jacob Elway.
