The first season of HBO's buzzy Lena Dunham/Judd Apatow comedy 'Girls' succeeded for a number of reasons, between those enamored of the honest and heartfelt writing, and plenty of detractors who still wanted to see what happened next. And while the second season won't hit the network until Sunday, January 13, the first season home release arrives next week. And what better what to show people what they're missing than with a deleted scene featuring 'SNL' alum Jenny Slate in a barely there bikini?

Between Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna, most any viewer can find a reason to get into HBO's 'Girls.' That line admittedly grows more difficult when it comes to your average male viewer, but can anyone really argue with putting former 'SNL' star Jenny Slate in a skimpy caution-tape bikini, as with a 'Girls' season 1 deleted scene revealed by Entertainment Weekly?

Certainly not. And while the scene actually does feature into the story, wherein Slate's character Tally Schifrin hosted a party for the release of her new book and earned the ire of Hannah (Lena Dunham), we find our own reasons to appreciate the deleted scene regardless.

Before 'Girls' unveils its season 2 premiere on Sunday, January 13, have a look at the season 1 delete scene over at EW, and tell us if you'll tune in for 'Girls' season 2 in the comments! As a bonus, enjoy this extra deleted bit from the first season:
