Boy, if that headline wouldn't turn some heads.  Though it doesn't seem all that long ago that HBO's 'Girls' wrapped up its first season, we're eagerly  awaiting the second outing for Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna.  We've recently learned that former 'Roswell' and 'Franklin & Bash' star Shiri Appleby will join the 'Girls' in their second season as a new love interest, but to whom?

According to Deadline, former 'Roswell' star Shiri Appleby is set to hop a train to 'Girls' season 2 as a new love interest, though not to any of the titular characters.  Appleby will play Natalie, love interest for Hannah (Lena Dunham)'s former lover Adam Driver (Adam Sackler), who broke up with Hannah in the first season finale.  Reportedly, Appleby's character comes as "a beautiful and charming New Yorker who adores Adam despite his wild sexual tendencies."

To date, Appleby certainly isn't the only famous face joining the hotly-debated dramedy's second season, guesting alongside 'Community' star Donald Glover, and former 'A Gifted Man' dream doc Patrick Wilson.  A brand spanking-new guest star sure isn't the only reason for 'Girls' creator Lena Dunham to celebrate, given the series' recent Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actress, Writing, and Directing, all for Dunham herself.

What say you?  Do you think a new love interest for Adam will be what drives him back toward Hannah?  Or will Hannah have too much on her own plat to think twice about her former lover?  Give us your hopes for 'Girls' season 2 in the comments below!
