Two seasons ago, the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' gang went Oscar-baiting for their season 7 promos, while last year things took an anime turn. This time around, 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' celebrates its season 9 move to FXX with all the Swedish-language monochrome art house style you can drink!

The 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' gang won't return for new episodes until sometime in September, but Charlie, Dee, Dennis, Mac and Frank have already begun promoting for their season 9 move to FX spinoff network FXX. Via Variety, the first three promos of the new season have hit, and they're about as sensical as you'd expect from a group of degenerates who spent the last nine years huffing paint and drinking wine out of beer cans.

The trailers say little about season 9, but we do know that it will feature a guest appearance from 'Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, and that 'Game of Thrones' showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have written an episode. Technically, 'Always Sunny' held its own Red Wedding last season, but we'd still count on a bit of bloodshed.

While we wait for 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 9, check out the art house promos above and below, and tell us what you want to see from the likely penultimate season in the comments!
