If you're a fan of NBC's Parks and Recreation, chances are you loved last night's hilarious and touching series finale that sent Leslie Knope and her ragtag band of Pawnee workers off into the sunset. But, even if you've never watched an episode of Parks and Rec in your life, here's something from the finale that still might interest you: a surprise Marvel easter egg.

Even though Guardians of the Galaxy made Chris Pratt a huge star, he stuck with Parks and Rec, the sitcom that gave him his first big break. It's not an exaggeration to say that without Parks and Rec, there would be no Chris Pratt in Guardians or Jurassic World or Indiana Jones or whatever massive movie he decides to star in next.

As a quick homage to the Guardians world, last night's episode jumped ahead a little further into the future (2022) to see what Pratt's character, Andy Dwyer, and his wife April (Aubrey Plaza) are up to. Spoiler alert: they have kids now and on Halloween, they answer the door to see a group of trick or treaters. Notice the little boy on the left:

A little Star-Lord! So, that means in the Parks and Rec universe, Guardians of the Galaxy also exists, which means that at some point Andy Dwyer watched Guardians of the Galaxy, which is enough to make our heads explode.

While this might be the end of Parks and Rec, it's certainly not the end of Star-Lord. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is set to open in theaters on May 5, 2017.
