The cast of The Batman keeps growing. Director Matt Reeves shared another name on his Twitter account Friday afternoon: Actor Peter Sarsgaard:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “sources speculate he could be playing a corrupt cop or a district attorney. If he is indeed playing a district attorney, Sarsgaard's character would be one familiar to comic book fans: Harvey Dent, the DA who becomes the villain Two-Face.” Dent was previously played onscreen by Billy Dee Williams in Tim Burton’s Batman films, Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever, and Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight. And Sarsgaard himself previously appeared in the DC Comics film Green Lantern, where he played Hector Hammond, the GL baddie with a big giant head.

The Batman opens in theaters on June 25, 2021. In addition to Robert Pattinson as Batman, the film also stars Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, and John Turturro as Gotham City crime boss Carmine Falcone. I don’t really care who Sarsgaard plays, but I hope he brings the big weird head with him. That’s a really good look for him.
