Just before Comic-Con 2015, Showtime’s Damian Lewis-Paul Giamatti financial drama Billions opened up the books for its first trailer, and with the network on the march at TCA, we know have a full premiere with a brand-new trailer. Billions will debut alongside Shameless Season 6 in 2016, but when?

Per Showtime’s official presentation, both Billions and Shameless Season 6 will officially premiere on Sunday, January 17. In addition to the sneak peek from earlier, Showtime has also released an intense, F-bomb laden look at the new high-stakes character drama.

Described as “a complex and contemporary drama about power politics in the New York world of high finance,” Showtime’s 12-episode Billions will see Homeland and Band of Brothers star Lewis in the role of the brilliant and ambitious hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, who finds himself going up against with politically savvy” U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades, as played by fellow Emmy-recipient Giamatti.

Also present are Maggie Siff as psychiatrist and finance-world performance coach Wendy, wife to Chuck, while Malin Akerman will play Bobby’s wife Lara, a former nurse. Additionally, Daredevil star Toby Leonard Moore, Breaking Bad alum David Costabile, and Condola Rashad will round out the cast. Billions is also written and executive produced by Brian Koppelman, David Levien and financial journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin, with Divergent director Neil Burger helming the pilot.
