‘SNL’ Preview: Kevin Hart Falls in Love, Puts Salt on His Butt

‘SNL’ kicks off the road to its 40th anniversary special with the 2015 premiere this weekend, returning ‘The Wedding Ringer’ star Kevin Hart to the stage with musical guest Sia. There’s much to catch up on from the break, so recount Kevin and Aidy Bryant’s New Year’s resolutions with our first official ‘SNL’ promo of 2015!

It’s always a gamble to judge upcoming ‘SNL’ by the week’s promos, though Hart and Bryant’s strong chemistry (and compatible height) make for a few solid bits. There’s romance, resolutions and autographs in the air, while poor Aidy Bryant just wants to get a word in edgewise, or practice her conversation skills. Kevin also has some unorthodox uses for salt, if you were wondering.

Having previously hosted back in 2013 with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the January 17 ‘SNL’ installment will feature Sia as the musical guest. The following week will see ‘The Voice’ coach Blake Shelton pulling double duty, both as host and musical act. It all leads up to the the forthcoming three-hour 40th anniversary special, airing Sunday, February 15, though few announcements outside of a nostalgic teaser have emerged.
