SNL Preview: Ryan Gosling and Aidy Bryant Spit on a Baby

SNL closed out November on something of sour note with Matthew McConaughey’s grand return, but December seems a much better bet by Ryan Gosling’s Saturday debut. Aidy Bryant welcomes Baby Goose in the first promos for SNL’s final three 2015 outings, but does she get a “Hey Girl” for her trouble?

NBC apparently decided to mix things up with its first promos of Ryan Gosling’s SNL debut, seguing a few awkward flirtations with Aidy Bryant into a longer, more cinematic conversation between the pair. There’s no sign of musical guest Leon Bridges just yet, but hey, at least someone spits on a baby! I really don’t know where I was going with that.

In any case, after this weekend’s Gosling-tastic SNL, December 12 will see Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth returning with Chance the Rapper, followed by the mother Sisters of all 2015 closers. Oh yes, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will return to their SNL stomping grounds as dual hosts, joined by none other than Bruce Springsteen.
