‘Suits’ Goes ‘Game of Thrones’ For Michelle Fairley in Latest Trailer
Though 'Game of Thrones' fans remained in terrible grief after the "Red Wedding" events of this past season's "The Rains of Castamere," Michelle Fairley fans were relieved to learn the actress would soon pop up on USA's 'Suits' for a recurring role. The first footage of Fairley's 'Suits' arc has hit, and the USA drama certainly isn't one to ignore Catelyn Stark's arrival.
Via Entertainment Weekly, the first promo and key art for Fairley's upcoming appearance plays heavily off the 'Game of Thrones' parallel, also including fellow 'Game of Thrones' star Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) for the gag. Do any of the more villainous stars make Lannister references you ask? Oh yes, oh yes indeed.
First appearing in the July 16 premiere, Fairley will take the role of British entrepreneur and oil magnate Ava Hessington, whom Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) must defend when a lawsuit threatens her family business. Hill will also appear in the third season as British firm head Edward Darby, but the two aren’t expected to share any scenes together.
Well, what say you? Are you excited to see Catelyn Stark take on the modern world of ‘Suits,’ now that MIchelle Fairley's 'Game of Thrones' tenure has come to an apparent end? Watch the 'Game of Thrones'-style teaser below and give us your thoughts in the comments!
