The relationship between Luke Skywalker and Rey in The Last Jedi is going to be a fraught one, not least because the past person whom Luke tutored went way off the rails and joined the revival of the very organization Luke spent the best years of his life fighting against. Yes, we’re talking about Kylo Ren, and a new TV spot for the movie addresses Kylo’s “failure.”

In the spot, which is mostly full of familiar footage, Rey says to Luke (presumably), “Kylo failed you. I won’t.” After seeing one of his own turn so easily to the Dark Side, Luke doubts his own abilities as a Jedi master and will probably be reluctant to try again with Rey, especially after seeing how powerful she is. And in Luke’s mind, he probably thinks he’s the one who failed, not his former pupil.

Elsewhere in Star Wars news, director Rian Johnson officially revealed the runtime for the movie, which clocks in at a lengthy 150 minutes (about 2 and a half hours), per IGN. Listen, I am the first person to expound upon my theory that no movie has any business being longer than 90 minutes, but so help me I will sit in a theater and watch 10 hours of a Rian Johnson Star Wars movie, with no bathroom breaks. This makes The Last Jedi the longest ever Star Wars film, a title that was once held by The Revenge of the Sith’s 140 minutes. Better bring a blanket and load up at the snack counter.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15.
