New ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Photos: Who’s Reunited, and Who’s Missing in Action?

'The Walking Dead' won't shamble out its fifth season premiere "No Sanctuary" for another month at least, but even the Comic-Con 2014 trailer didn't mind telling us that Rick and the rest of the "A" car won't be holed up in Terminus forever. To wit, the AMC horror drama has released a plethora of new character portraits for the season, with some surprising season 5 reunions, and more than a few questionable omissions!

Granted the full set of AMC character portraits for 'The Walking Dead' season 5 don't necessarily tell the story of the actual episodes, though we do seem to find most of the major gang fighting their way around Terminus. Daryl and Carol will have their inevitable reunion at some point, as will Tyreese with his sister Sasha, but who's missing from this picture (s)? Where are Abraham's cohorts, Bob, Carl, Michonne, or even Beth? Were they not pretty enough for the gallery treatment?

While we wait for ‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, we know that existing stars Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all been upgraded to series regulars, while ‘The Wire‘ star Seth Gilliam joined in a role confirmed to be that of comic preacher Gabriel Stokes. The fifth season of AMC’s monster-drama will pick up shortly after season 4 finale “A,” eschewing the usual time jump to show Rick and his cohorts’ time at Terminus.
