Oh, that Scott Foley.  Whether you've loved him since his 'Felicity' days, 'Dawson's Creek' or even 'Scrubs,' there's no denying the surprise and mystery behind his character's appearance in final episode  "And When I Die" of 'True Blood's fourth season.  But as the mysterious (and strictly human) Patrick, a figure linked to Terry Bellefleur's past, just what can we expect to see in season 5?

As bizarre as we feel writing this, one shouldn't expect to see the actor getting down and dirty with any of the 'True Blood' ladies.  Foley tells TVLine, "It’s so disappointing because I went on a diet, I got into great shape, I lost weight, and...nothing. Todd [Lowe, Patrick's former subordinate Terry Bellefleur] and I are the only ones who don’t ‘nude up’ on the show!”

So what exactly will Patrick do, besides keep his clothes on?  Foley insists Patrick to be one of the few strictly human characters to make a guest-appearance in Bon Temps, explaining of his role:

I’m not a vampire, I’m not a werewolf, I’m not a were-panther, I’m not a fairy, I’m not a shape-shifter. I’m just a guy coming into town trying to finish something he started back in Iraq.

Something happened between the [Patrick and Terry Bellefleur] in Iraq that needs to be dealt with. I can’t say what it is. It has nothing to do with vampires or werewolves, but there is a mission that they need to complete.

Patrick and Terry also recently featured in one of 'True Blood's "Waiting Sucks" promos, sharing a scene with a jittery fellow veteran, but what do you think?  Our money's on the US Government looking to start policing supernatural activity, starting with the hotspot that is Bon Temps!  See if you can't gather any intel from the two pictures of Scott Foley's character featured below, and give us your report in the comments!
