The cast for Warner Bros. and DC’s solo Wonder Woman movie already had a lot going for it with Gal Gadot in the lead role — although we’ve only seen glimpses of her in action as the iconic superhero, Gadot looks like she might steal the Batman v Superman show next spring. With Patty Jenkins behind the camera and Chris Pine co-starring, Wonder Woman has become increasingly interesting — and it might get even more interesting with the casting of Nicole Kidman as an Amazonian warrior.

The Wrap reports that WB is in talks with Kidman to play a “high-ranking” Amazonian warrior on Diana’s home of Themyscira / Paradise Island, a mythological place inhabited by a tribe of warrior women. It’s unclear which character Kidman would play, though she might be cast as Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazon tribe and Wonder Woman’s mother.

Jason Fuchs (Pan) wrote the screenplay for the Wonder Woman solo movie, with Eva Green and Sean Bean recently eyed for potential villain roles opposite Gadot and Pine — the latter of whom plays Wonder Woman’s love interest, Steve Trevor. WB has yet to release any official plot details, though it’s been heavily rumored that Wonder Woman is a prequel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will divide its time between the World War I era and modern day.

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 23, 2017. Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman, on March 25, 2016.
