‘Young Justice’ Season 3 Reveals New Characters and ‘Outsiders’ Designs
It was almost unfathomable last year that Young Justice would preview Season 3 at Comic-Con 2017, but good things come to those who wait. See the upcoming Outsiders season with first looks at new characters like Arrowette and Spoiler, and updated designs for the teammates we know!
DC had no official footage to show of the new twenty-six episode season, which itself will premiere on a new DC streaming service rather than Netflix or TV. At the very least, we got a first look at Season 3 artwork, so here’s the core team of Robin, Arsenal, Blue Beetle, a new Kid Flash, Static, Wonder Girl and Beast Boy:
Followed by new additions Arrowette, “Thirteen” and Spoiler:
As explained in the panel, Stephanie Brown grew up to become Spoiler, and a girl Artemis saved in Season 2 was inspired to become Arrowette. Thirteen remains something of a mystery, but who doesn’t want to see the original, original team back in action? Albeit undercover …
Here’s our synopsis for Season 3, which lacks an official premiere date just yet:
In “Young Justice: Outsiders,” the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.
We’ll hear more of Young Justice: Outsiders soon, so stay tuned for the latest.
