Few 'Dexter' fans would argue that the past season brought with it a major upturn in quality, bringing Deb up to date on her brother's dark secret, but also through Dexter's mysterious new love interest Hannah McKay ('Chuck's' Yvonne Strahovski). Now, as Showtime's serial killer drama heads into its eighth and likely final season on June 30, we've learned that despite where we left the character, Yvonne Strahovski will indeed return! Find out about the latest addition to 'Dexter' season 8 in the comments!

Hannah McKay might be a fugitive from the law, but don't count Yvonne Strahovski out of 'Dexter' just yet. Entertainment Weekly has revealed that the former 'Chuck' star will indeed return for 'Dexter's' eighth and potentially final season, recurring across multiple episodes of the new run beginning June 30.

No details of Hannah's return have yet been revealed, considering the character was last seen escaping police custody and seemingly saying her goodbyes to Dexter Morgan, but it's a safe bet her return won't go over so smoothly with Deb.

Elsewhere, ‘Dexter’ season 8 will feature appearances from ‘One Tree Hill’s' Bethany Joy Lenz as Dexter’s new neighbor Cassie, ‘Last Resort‘ star Darri Ingolfsson as her antique-dealing paramour, ‘Entourage‘s’ Rhys Coiro as a bail jumper on Deb’s radar, ‘The Walking Dead‘ star Nick Gomez as a hitman that comes to tangle with Deb, Charlotte Rampling as criminal profiling neuro-psychiatrist Dr. Evelyn Vogel, and ‘The Boondock Saints’ star Sean Patrick Flanery as ex-cop turned private-eye Jacob Elroy.

We'll bring you more details of Yvonne Strahovski's 'Dexter' season 8 return as they arrive, but in the meantime check out the latest teaser and give us your theories in the comments!
