We won’t have to wait long into December for Bill Murray’s upcoming Netflix Christmas special, the aptly-titled A Very Murray Christmas, but it’s never too early for holiday cheer (especially for franchise coffee). In any case, the full star-studded trailer has arrived, including Clooney, Poehler and more, but not Pope Francis, apparently.

Netflix dropped a much-more story-based look at the new December 4 special, in which a despondent Bill Murray laments that not enough major stars have shown up to his snowed-in event at the Carlyle hotel (What gives, Paul McCartney?). It’s an interesting line to straddle, between holiday special and musical variety hour, but come on, it’s Bill Murray! We’re already aboard.

Streaming on December 4, Netflix’s A Very Murray Christmas will feature such impressive names as George Clooney, former Late Show bandleader Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Dimitri Dimitrov, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, David Johansen, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, the band Phoenix, Frederic Moulin, Rashida Jones, and Miley Cyrus.

So reads Netflix’s official logline:

Written by Sofia Coppola, Bill Murray and Mitch Glazer and directed by Sofia Coppola, A Very Murray Christmas is an homage to the classic variety show featuring Bill Murray playing himself, as he worries no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snow storm in New York City. Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him; dancing and singing in holiday spirit.

Watch the trailer again below, and have yourself A Very Murray Christmas on December 4.
