In only two aired seasons, 'American Horror Story' has kept notoriously spoiler-tight in the months leading up to its October premieres, even with general directions of the thematic content. The likely witchcraft-centric 'American Horror Story: Coven' has maintained the same level of secrecy up until now, but has a leaked audition tape from 'Arrow' actor Byron Mann spoiled at least some of the potential plot?

According to the YouTube video brought to our attention by SpoilerTV, the footage indeed shows actor Byron Mann -- looking far more polished than we're used to from 'Arrow' character Yao Fei -- acting out a scene as Dr. David Zhong, involving treatments for eternal youth. Opposite Mann, an offscreen voice reads for a wealthy woman demanding access to the untested treatments.

Of course, even after the massive grain of salt we've taken with the video, fans would do well to remember that audition sides are rarely indicative of a final product, if they're even related to the project's actual plot at all. That said, eternal youth and a telling line that "what we're doing here is not magic" certainly feel like the 'American Horror Story' hodgepodge we've come to expect, no?

So far, we do know that the third season will be set in the modern day across several cities primarily New Orleans, and will occasionally dip back into the past as the story requires. ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ will also welcome newcomers Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone, Gabourey Sidibe and Kathy Bates, along with returning franchise regulars Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson. Prior series stars Zachary Quinto and Dylan McDermott have not been confirmed to return, and may sit the third round out if scheduling falls through.

What say you? Could Byron Mann's audition tape have let slip plot points for 'American Horror Story: Coven'? What do you hope to see when the new season debuts this fall?
