Much like the comic books on which they're based, the Marvel movies pride themselves on their ability to have characters cross over into various films, and the upcoming 'Ant-Man' will be no different. We've seen such instances as Captain America in 'Thor: The Dark World,' and Agent Coulson and Nick Fury in a handful of titles, so which Marvel movie characters might show up in Peyton Reed's 'Ant-Man'?

Beware of spoilers from here on out, Marvelites, but Latino Review reports that, before 'Ant-Man' underwent all the changes to the script and director's seat, Edgar Wright's original treatment included an early scene in which Hank Pym enters S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and meets Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), Armin Zola (Toby Jones), and -- cue the dramatic drum roll -- a young Alexander Pierce, Robert Redford's character in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.' Despite all the changes 'Ant-Man' underwent, Latino Review reports that this scene is still intact and could end up in the final draft, and could very well see a young Pierce in the upcoming 'Agent Carter' TV series, as well!

In 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' we learned that the villainous organization Hydra had never truly disbanded, and instead had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. Jones' Zola was recruited by Peggy Carter's generation of agents, and it would make sense to see a young Pierce show up in this world.

'Ant-Man' is still getting some script changes as it approaches principal photography, but we know that it features Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Paul Rudd as Scott Lange, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp, and Corey Stoll as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket. The film will hit theaters on July 17, 2015, and you can be sure some familiar faces will show up, or at the very least, be Easter-egged to death!
