If you’ve been paying attention to Twitter, you’ve likely noticed that the first reactions to Ant-Man have started popping up as the film screened early for a handful of critics. It’s still a couple of weeks before we’ll get to see Marvel’s latest, but you can see a little more of Ant-Man right now with the new international trailer.

If you thought U.S. trailers had a bad habit of showing too much and basically laying out the entire film for you, they’ve got nothing on this Japanese trailer. It’s loaded with new footage, sure, but it’s also basically a two-and-a-half minute version of the whole movie. The first scene shows off Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang as he gets fired from Baskin Robbins (of all places) by Gregg Turkington. Turkington is best known for his alter ego Neil Hamburger, as well as the internet show he hosts with Tim Heidecker (of Tim and Eric fame), On Cinema.

Turkington’s role in Ant-Man has remained a mystery until now, and I have to say I’m a bit bummed that the Japanese trailer gives it away. That might have been a scene best saved for the big screen.

As a bonus, Marvel has also released this fake ad for Cross Industries, home to Darren Cross, aka Yellowjacket:

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man also stars Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, Michael Pena and John Slattery, and hits theaters on July 17.
