If you’ve somehow avoided seeing Ant-Man just yet, then be warned that this post is filled with spoilers, obviously. With all the dudes fighting in their mechanized superhero (and villain) costumes in the film, there was one character who didn’t make it into a super-suit: Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne. But according to Lilly, it may not be too much longer before she suits up for Marvel.

At the end of Ant-Man, Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym reveals a specially-designed suit he has hidden away — he began building it with his wife, Janet (aka Wasp), before she disappeared into the Quantum Realm. After sidelining her for much of the film, Hank tells his daughter Hope that he thinks they were really building it for her to use some day, to which she smartly replies, “It’s about damn time.”

While we got a peek at the incomplete suit, it seems that there is definitely a finished product on the way. In a Facebook Q&A (screengrabs via Slashfilm), Lilly was asked about the Wasp suit, and she revealed that Marvel has already fitted her for it, though she has not tried it on just yet:

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige previously revealed that Lilly’s Wasp had to be written out of Captain America: Civil War, which is already packed to the rafters with heroes, but Feige did say that we’d definitely see her again in Phase Three. It’s impossible to tell which Phase Three film she might appear in — the Spider-Man reboot? Doctor Strange? Captain Marvel? If she were to suit up for Avengers: Infinity War, it would make sense for Lilly’s version of Wasp to make her debut in a film before then.
