‘Arrow’ Preview: ‘Spartacus’ Manu Bennett Goes Under Deathstroke’s Mask!

Manu Bennett has a big night ahead of him as 'Spartacus: War of the Damned' makes its final premiere on Starz, but that isn't the only place to catch the chiseled star in coming weeks. Not only can yout catch Bennett as Azog of 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' but he will soon appear on The CW's 'Arrow' as legendary DC character Slade Wilson! We've got the first pics of Deathstroke unmasked inside, so check them out!

While Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) has encountered the villainous Deathstroke a number of times in his island past, upcoming episode "Betrayal" will see 'Spartacus: War of the Damned' star Manu Bennett (Crixus) portraying Deathstroke's better half Slade Wilson. The Huffington Post obtained the first photos of Manu Bennett in the February 6 episode "Betrayal," in which Oliver and Slade "form an uneasy alliance on the island of Lian Yu."

It remains to be seen exactly if Oliver will recognize Slade as the man under the mask, particularly given the recent betrayal of the island's forces in Wednesday's episode "Trust But Verify."

In addition to the recent casting of ‘Doctor Who‘ favorite Alex Kingston as the elder Dinah Lance, upcoming episodes will also feature the likes of returning star Jessica De Gouw’s Huntress, ‘Fringe‘ star Seth Gabel as Count Vertigo, ‘Battlestar Galactica‘s' James Callis as The Dodger, ‘Teen Wolf’ star Colton Haynes as Roy Harper, and returning DC character Deadshot (Michael Rowe).
