Wednesday's all-new 'Arrow' episode "Trust But Verify" will see Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) taking a break from fighting DC villains of the costumed variety, as Oliver investigates Diggle's former superior officer Ted Gaynor (Ben Browder), but 'Arrow' is far from finished playing in the DC sandbox. We've learned that after appearing in the show's third episode "Lone Gunmen," DC comic supervillain Deadshot (Michael Rowe) will soon return to menace Starling City! Find out about Deadshot's 'Arrow' return this season inside!

According to standard comic rules, no character is ever completely dead. And even though 'Arrow' tends to take a more grounded, real-world approach to its DC heroics, you didn't think a measly eye wound would keep sharpshooter villain Deadshot in the dirt, did you? Via TVGuide, we've learned that the one-eyed assassin Floyd Lawton will return in an upcoming episode, despite his apparent death at the end of previous episode "Lone Gunmen."

Appearing in 2013 episode "Dead to Rights," Michael Rowe will reprise the Deadshot character to face off with Oliver Queen once more, the hour to be penned by DC Comics vet Geoff Johns. Diggle (David Ramsay) will also engage in battle with Deadshot to avenge his murdered brother, but it isn't clear if both fights will take place within the same episode.

In addition to the recent casting of 'Doctor Who' favorite Alex Kingston as the elder Dinah Lance, upcoming episodes will also feature the likes of returning star Jessica De Gouw’s Huntress, ‘Fringe‘ star Seth Gabel as Count Vertigo, ‘Battlestar Galactica‘s James Callis as The Dodger, ‘Teen Wolf’ star Colton Haynes as Roy Harper, and ‘Spartacus‘ lead Manu Bennett taking over the role of Slade Wilson / Deathstroke.

What say you? Are you excited to see Michael Rowe's Deadshot return to 'Arrow?' Will his previous injuries cause him to more closely resemble his comic counterpart? Tell us what DC characters you're most excited to see on 'Arrow' in the comments!
