‘Arrow’ Finale Synopsis: Deathstroke Boomerangs Back, Plus Ghul-Fight

Arrow may have played up some confusion as to whether Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke would return for Season 5’s finale, but the truth is far grander. Our first “Lian Yu” finale synopsis not only confirms Bennett’s return, but also all-out DC warfare between Deathstroke, Prometheus, Captain Boomerang, the Al Ghul sisters and more.

Not only will DC favorites Deathstroke and Captain Boomerang (Bennett’s fellow Spartacus alum Nick E. Tarabay, not seen since Season 3) return, but Prometheus will also have Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig), Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) and more on his side for the final showdown. See for yourself:

DEATHSTROKE, NYSSA AL GHUL, MERLYN AND DIGGER HARKNESS JOIN OLIVER’S BATTLE AGAINST PROMETHEUS

The battle between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) culminates in a final epic battle on Lian Yu. After recent events, Oliver decides to recruit a group of unlikely allies — Slade (guest star Manu Bennett), Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law), Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Digger Harkness (guest star Nick E. Tarabay) — to defeat Chase. However, Chase has his own army – Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy), Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin) and Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig) — and the forces collide in an explosive season finale.

Jury’s out on who might survive such an intense battle, though at least some of the above stars have booked permanent returns for Season 6, while others swear-off the Arrow-verse entirely.
