‘Avengers’ vs. ‘X-Men': Where Should Quicksilver Land?

Yesterday brought the somewhat startling news that Bryan Singer intends on using the character Quicksilver in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and in fact cast Evan Peters for the role; a controversial decision, since Joss Whedon had already stated Quicksilver will be appearing in 'The Avengers 2.' So which franchise do you think will be a better fit for the speedy character?

Truth be told, Quicksilver can appear in both movies, thanks to specific and complicated language that we won't regurgitate here (although Hitfix has a good rundown on the matter, if you care to read it). Singer evidently wants to use Quicksilver, who is the son of Magneto, hence more directly related to 'X-Men,' in a particular sequence in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' while Whedon presumably has a larger vision for the character in mind, positioning the speedster and his sister, Scarlet Witch, as crucial additions to the 'Avengers 2' storyline.

So for the moment, it's looking like we'll be seeing Quicksilver play with both the 'X-Men' and 'Avengers.' But we're still wondering: which universe do you think makes more sense for the character to appear? Vote below!
